Welcome to "Radio FM!" app’s privacy policy! We are a company called Tasmanic Editions S.A.S. We are registered in France with number 794114934. Our address is 91 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008 Paris, FRANCE.
This policy describes how we (referred in this policy as ‘Tasmanic’ or ‘we’, us’ and ‘our’) collect, use, process and share information that Tasmanic collects about you when you use the app 'Radio FM !' on your iOS device, starting version 3.0.
If you downloaded or ran a former version of the app, please also refer to this privacy policy that applies to the former versions of the app before version 3.0
Those policies only apply to this app on iOS devices and NOT to our other products, services or businesses.
If you have any concerns about this privacy policy you should not use this app.

1- Age requirements

THIS SERVICE IS NOT MEANT FOR PEOPLE UNDER 16. We are committed to protecting the privacy needs of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online activities and interests. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 16 and we do not target this Service to children under 16. If we receive a valid notice through dpo@tasmanic.com that a minor under age of 16 has provided us with personal information, we will take measures to delete it as soon as possible.

2- Why Do we Collect data ?

Like most of the other app publishers, Tasmanic Editions needs to perform some R&D, analysis and marketing tasks. We explain here the reasons why we and our partners may collect data:

App usage

Examples: navigation inside the app, actions in the app such as clicks on buttons, duration of sessions, frequency of use...
This data is generally analyzed through aggregated reports.

Technical Data

Examples: identifiers such as the Apple's identifier for vendors (the ‘IDFV’), IP address, device country or language, device screen size, operating system and version...
These technologies may allow us to recognize the users devices, provide interest-based advertising and allow us to understand how the users interact with our app.

GPS location

When we collect your geolocation data (subject to your consent), we do so to provide you with our location-related products and services, for example to provide you with the best stations for your location.

If you contact us, for instance by email or on our social media channels, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

5- Opt out


On iOS devices, you can turn on/off the location service API in the device settings.

The collection of personal data by Tasmanic Editions depends on your consent through a 'pop-up' shown at the first launch of the app.
You can give or withdraw your consent at anytime in the app itself : in the menu on the main page, open the 'privacy settings'.
You can select 'On' to allow the collection of personal data or 'Off' to disallow the collection of personal data.
Click 'OK' to submit your new settings.
Then force the app to close (more info)
Then restart the app.

6- Payments

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).
We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors, whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.

7- Radio Stations

This app provides a list of thousands of the most famous radio stations worldwide, for your convenience. When you play a station in the app, you actually use the player embedded in the app as a tool to open the station stream online, in a similar way as you would open this stream with a web browser or with a media player such as VLC. Those stations may collect and use your IP address, depending on their own privacy policies.

8- GDPR - Additional rights in the EEA or Switzerland

- Request access to and receive information about the Personal Information we maintain about you, update and correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information, restrict or object to the processing of your Personal Information, have the information anonymized or deleted, as appropriate, or exercise your right to data portability to easily transfer your Personal Information to another company. In addition, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL which is the supervisory authority In France.

- Withdraw any consent you previously provided to us regarding the processing of your Personal Information, at any time and free of charge. We will apply your preferences going forward and this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before your consent withdrawal.
